I know the feeling Fred. It is taking me a lot longer to explain programs and get children ‘going’ than I initially anticipated.

However, we have produced some great written work using the EDA’s in the planning and ideas stage!

We’re getting there!!

Graeme,

you say your device ‘found the internet’ without you having to change settings.

You should be aware that a mobile wireless enabled device actively seeks access points, and can attempt a connection.

If your device connected to the internet at home - as you report- then you have security problems with your home network.

No device can connect to the internet without knowing the WEP key for the LAN, you must be making the key available ‘automatically’ on your home network. My advice is to secure your LAN.

I took the device home last night and it automatically found the internet without me having to change any settings on the handheld itself, so that wasn’t too bad!

Fred - the reason this didn’t appear soon after you posted it was nothing to do with me not approving the content (as Trudy had suggested to me)!

I think you must have clicked on “Save” rather than on “Publish”. I found it by accident when I logged in as administaror, is a “draft message” folder.

The mslit website to get ebooks free has now been unblocked and should now be accessible from schools.

I posted the last comment from home - however, the mslit.com address is currently filtered by websense - so not available from schools - it will be unblocked in 2 or 3 days!!
